Ya Gotta Set Some Goals!

When I first started this Blog I had some pretty concrete goals in mind as to what and when things needed to be done by. At this point I have a post that detailed what my goals are but I want to dedicate this page strictly to chronicling my weight loss goals going forward and what I want to accomplish and be able to do.

  1. Get to a healthy weight for my height and finally feel like the thin girl I have always wanted to be.
    • Specifically for 2017 I am making a goal for 20 lbs.+, getting out of the 300 club
    • For 2018, I would like to be closer to being out of the 200 club, however I would like more than ever to not have to shop in stores for plus size women.
  2. Finally finish the 100 day workout challenge that I started back in April, which has been placed on hold because of a non-displaced fracture to my left tibia. ✅
  3. Be happy with myself in pictures from my best friends wedding in October. Makayla's wedding day should be special and not only do I want her to look back at those pictures and say that we all looked amazing but I also want to be able to say that as well.✅
    • I have already picked up my dress from the store and it fits perfectly now but I want to be able to get it altered because it becomes too big before the big day! Now I know this is the worst nightmare for most girls in a wedding but in my case it would be a HUGE accomplishment instead of a nightmare!✅
  4. I have my old race swimsuit from high school that to be honest didn't fit all that well back then, that I want to be able to put on without a fight and get back in swimming shape. I miss the smell of chlorine on my skin, in my hair and worked into every last pore of my body. (Yes, I know... weird)  However that is how I spent my life all through middle and high school and it was an important part of my past that I would like to have back if only for the fitness aspect of it.
  5. After spending some time with my college roommate a few weeks ago I want to be able to train for and complete a 5K, 1/2 Marathon and a full Marathon.
    • One of the above mentioned races will be completed in San Francisco, CA. And let's just be honest it will probably be the full marathon that I do in San Fran just because its the longest.
  6. Once I have done each of the above mentioned races I want to also try my hand at a triathlon. I thought about it and I have kinda done triathlons before. When I was in high school I spent one summer riding my bike to and from swim practice 5 days a week totally about 4 miles round trip. When I arrived at practice my coach would have us run something. I don't know how much we would run but we would run, then after all of that sweating outside running we would hop in the pool and swim some ridiculous distance. After practice back I would go home on my bike and did I mention this was all done between the hours of 7am and 10am!!!
  7. Not quite sure yet.... but I'm sure it will come to me.
